Frality 2001 USA Everyone knows Bill Paxton from Aliens, Apollo 13, Titanic and a bunch of other good movies, but lesser known Frality is one of his best movies. He starred in and it was his directorial debut. Not so much horror, but a solid mystery with thrills and surprises from start to finish. Adam (Matthew McConaughey) is confessing to a FBI agent in being a accomplice in the "God's Hand" serial killing when he was younger. The movie uses flashbacks to hell his story. His father (Paxton) wakes up one night telling his Adam and Fenton that God spoke to him and told him to kill demons walking the earth disguised as humans. Paxton in the flashbacks and McConaughey in the present telling the story (similar to the amazing True Detective HBO show) are terrific.
