The Void

The Void 2017 limited release right now A throwback to 80s style horror aka The Thing. If you’re a fan of those, you will love this movie. Daniel Carter (Aaron Poole) is a small town sheriff. When he finds a stranger in pain on the side of the road, Daniel takes him to the local hospital which only has a handful of people present. Soon after arriving, cult members in hooded robes and morphing monsters being to wreak havoc. The Void is formulaic and doesn't break the mold but it's entertaining for the low budget genre movie. The look of the film had a nice style and there were some creepy scenes but too much of it has been done before. The first act was fantastic but after that it went downhill. "Statistically you're more likely to die in a hospital than anywhere else."
